I will talk about the concept of "space and exchange," I'm going to start a definition of the concept. This concept helps to show the borders as a boundary between two spaces, but there may be real and virtual spaces and in respect of trade was the exchange of cultures, religion and customs in everyday life. To illustrate this concept I will use the theme of immigration between Mexico and the United States. To relate the theme to the concept let's ask ourselves the question; To what extent can immigration be seen as a form of exchange?. So I chose two papers to illustrate this concept.

The first document that I chose is a cartoon that shows two people in front of a fence of barbed wire, which should be that of the border between the United Etas and Mexico. There "Uncle Sam" is represented in big and holding a placard written "Keep Out" and there is an employer who is represented by small and also holds a placard written "Help Wanted". This cartoon shows that opposition among US immigrants who are not in their territories and employers who are delighted to be able to hire people with cheap labor.

The second document I have chosen is an interview which is entitled "New Horizons." in this interview can be even the reporter talks to a Mexican immigrant from non Alejandro on the American dream. It says he left Mexico for a better condition of life and his family, give a good education for his children, have better income and to leave poverty in his country.

The link between this interview and the concept is that it demonstrates the important flow of immigrants to live the American dream.
