The first semester of the BUT Biological Engineering was a big surprise for me being to give that it is the first step in higher education I privileged a school close to home in order to be able to keep a better stability in my life but the problem and that there is many people at home for not enough space so the autonomy schedules in the use of time allow me to revise in peace at the library .

My impression is that the courses of the first semester are designed to lay the foundations of ecosystems and biological mechanisms in order to all start from the same point since we all come from different backgrounds We studied the foundations of biology, ecology and microbiology, which are essential to address issues related to the protection and management of ecosystems during the semester we were able to experiment with transversal courses, strengthening skills in communication, teamwork and project management. These skills are essential for working in professional environments or for solving complex problems

It also gave me an idea of my professional orientation

and I’m interested in it because we have a lot of opportunities.

What was highlighted during my journey is the understanding of pollution and prevention methods since we are the environmental science sector we explore the different sources of pollution, whether they are of chemical or biological physical origin. Pollutant characterization techniques are taught, which allows us to develop the necessary skills to assess and measure environmental impacts

the practical work offered us concrete opportunities to put our knowledge into practice. These field experiments reinforce the understanding of environmental issues and make it possible to apply the concepts learned in class as for the identification of characters and living beings to cergy wood for the design of a herbarium and for a project of Cergy Pond Wildlife Classification .

Going to higher study I think I have a certain freedom but the rhythm impose in GOAL is very high we expect a lot to give us that we are given a follow-up contrary to the FAQ; I found the workload to do huge at the end of the year by chaining projects and portfolio it would be better with a better explanation of these tasks and a better organization of teaching staff this semester was not easy for me contrary to my high school years I expected it but I am still surprised I would try to take into account my mistakes such as favor constant revisions rather than just before the evaluation in order to spend 3 years in good condition.
