They work during their free time : they earn pocket money.[pic 29]
They have a job during their spare time : they make pocket money.

- GRAMMAR : Le Présent Simple
Pour parler de l’activité répétée (la routine, l’habitude) du sujet grammatical, l’énonciateur utilise le présent simple.
Il constate objectivement et informe sur un fait habituel.
1) Pour informer dans une phrase affirmative on utilise la structure suivante :
Sujet (he/she/it) + verbe terminé par s/es/ies+ [Complément].[pic 38]
Sujet (I/you/we/they) + base verbale + [Complément].[pic 39]
2) Pour poser une question sur l’activité répétée du sujet grammatical on utilise la structure suivante : :
Pronom interrogatif + opérateur DOES + sujet (he/she/it) + base verbale + [Complément] ?[pic 40]
Pronom interrogatif + opérateur DO + sujet (I/you/we/they) + base verbale + [Compl.] ?[pic 41]
Rappel :
Lorsque la question est posée sur le sujet grammatical de la phrase, le pronom interrogatif va prendre la place du sujet (qui disparait). Dans ce cas l’opérateur disparait aussi et le verbe devra donc se conjuguer en fonction des pronoms interrogatifs "who" ou "what" considérés comme une 3ème personne du singulier.
3) Pour informer dans une phrase négative on utilise la structure suivante :
Sujet (he/she/it) opérateur DOES + négation NOT + base verbale + [Complément].[pic 42][pic 43]
Sujet (he/she/it) opérateur DOESN’T + base verbale + [Complément].
Sujet (I/you/we/they) + opérateur DO + négation NOT + base verbale + [Complément].[pic 44][pic 45]
Sujet (I/you/we/they) + opérateur DON’T + base verbale + [Complément].
