Introduction:

I’m going to deal with the notion Place and Forms of Power.

To begin with, I’d like to give a definition of the notion : Places could be important buildings or institutions that represent a certain form of power, for example Buckingham Palace.Power is the ability to control others, events, or resources; the ability to make things happen despite obstacles, resistance, or opposition. This of course leads to conflict between those who have power and those who don’t.

In relation to the notion, the subject of my presentation will be the media.

First of all, I’ll focus on the power before talking about the counter-powers.

A hero can be a mythological figure, a person who is admired for his or her achievements, a superhero or maybe a role model or an icon.
