Miss Honey : a mild and quiet person who never raised her voice and was seldom seen to smile, is adored by every small child under her care , miss Trunchbull’s niece ,became the mom of matilda at the end of the story .

The Trunchbull :mean , awful , evil ,the  school’s head mistress, hates small children , killed miss honey’s father to steal her money .

Summary:

This is the story about a little girl called Matilda who lived with her father, mother and brother in England . Although her parents were vey mean to her , she was  extremely intelligent and loves to read.  To take revenge , matilda thought up of several ways such as supergluing her father’s hat to his head and pretending there was a ghost at home . At the age of five she went to school and her teacher , miss Honey , was really astonished by her intelligence . Her teacher told the head mistress , Mrs trunchbull , a mean woman who scares children . Mrs trunchbull thought that matilda was a terrible trouble maker . Miss honey decided to visit matilda’s home to see her family life and discovered her parents treated her badly . One day , when one of matilda’s classmates played a prank on miss trunchbull , matilda moved a glass of water with her mind . Miss honey invited matilda to her home and matilda was really surprised miss honey lived in a tiny shack and  was very poor . Miss honey explained matilda that miss trunchbull was her aunt and she  took all of her money and treated her badly after her father’s death . To escape she lived poorly in a shack .  One day , matilda used her incredible powers to send a haunting message to truncbull . She gave miss honey all her money back and leaved the town . At last , matilda lived with miss honey as her family had to run away from the police .

My opinion of the book:

I appreciate this book because Roald dahl is my favourite writer . It’s really interesting and sometimes funny . I feel like it’s kind of a fairy tale for young teenagers .
