        Space And Exchanges

        I am going to talk about Spaces and Exchanges

        First of all I would like to give a definition of this notion :

        This notion deals with the geographical and symbolic areas that all societies occupy and the interactions between men and different societies. Our world is built on the exploration and conquest of new spaces. The different cultural, economic, sociological and language interactions have shaped and characterised our modern-day world

        This year in class we studied several documents about  Spaces and Exchanges

and in in particular about  gap years

        In order to illustrate this notion I have chosen to answer to the question : Is a gap year always beneficial ?

        To answer this question I will present 3 documents :  Away from home, Another angle, Taking Risks

        Many students mainly, take a gap year before going to unniversity or after when they have there qualifications. All of them do not go on a gap year for the same reasons.

A gap year is a year cuher you stop studuying or working to do other things.

Firstly we are going to see the beneficals reasons to go on a gap year and scondly the risks.

        First, a lot of peaple go on a gap year to carry out humanitarian actions. They go on a poor country  to help the population, to teach Englesh for exemple, like we show it Away from home or Another Angle. These gap years are benefical for the future, they have experience for the professional life, they discover a new culture, they meet peaple from differents counrty.

        But, go on a gap year is not always benefical. To go on a gap year is dangerous. The document Taking Risks demonstrate that.

The humanitarian organization’s members can take differents diseas, to go on a gap year they need money and a gap year is short. The conditions are difficults. An peaple who feel that a gap year is short can become a gap year addict.

        We can see that going in a gap year is not always benefical, the gap year have advantages and disadvantages.
